Welcome to my website! I'm giving it a bit of a face lift so bear with.
You may or may not know me yet. It's still nice of you to visit.
For those who are part of the latter….I have come up with 10 things you should know about me-
1. I have 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree in Music and Audio Technology. This was hard work and my research project was something of an amazing if not slightly wacky feat of engineering.
2. I was part of a university team that was a finalist in a Europe wide Epic Games competition called Make Something Unreal live 2013. The aim was to design a game based on Medallion Inheritance using Unreal Engine for which I was the sound designer. We reached the Finals and displayed their game at The Gadget Show Live 2013 at the NEC in Birmingham.
3. I know my tech for events and churches. I have worked with large scale sound and lighting creating some amazing environments. I have advised and supported loads of different churches across the south.
3. I have been part of a band called Fiona and Shrek that reached the finals of Red Hot Talent (a local music competition). This lead to opportunities to perform onboard Red Funnel Ships and a Wedding at Osborne House. I am a proficient pianist and play on a regular basis for my church.
4. In 2014, I successfully completed a placement year working for Southampton Methodist Circuit where I installed a number of brand new audio systems with the support of Cunning Recording Associates.
5. I am currently working as a Network Technician at Shirley Infant and Junior School. I manage a network of over 250 devices maintaining and supporting a variety of hardware and software.
6.During my free time, I volunteers at 4th Southampton Boys Brigade where I am the officer in charge of the junior section.
7. I am a Level 6 football referee who volunteers to referee matches in the local community. I officiated 6 out of the 102 hours of a a Guinness World Record attempt of the longest football match.
8. I am currently engaged to my partner of 11 years, Jem and hope to get married in 2022.
9. I have raised over £5000 for charity through quizzes and swimming over the course of my life.
10. I really dislike olives, anything very spicy and fish.
